We are so glad you are here.

We believe life is better with Jesus because Jesus makes us better at life. Our commitment is to learn and share that life with everyone we can; friends, neighbors, classmates, coworkers, people just like us, and people who aren't anything like us. If you are looking for a place where you can belong we would love to share Jesus' life with you.  Everyone is welcome (and nobody is perfect)!

Wondering what Sunday Morning will look like, what to wear or if there is a place for your children?  We have an answer for all of that and more.

At Huntersville Presbyterian Church, we believe that life is better with Jesus. We strive to serve God in all that we do, and we believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. We welcome all people into our community, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey, and we seek to support and encourage one another in our faith.

Huntersville Presbyterian Church has been serving the community since 1878. From our humble beginnings, we have grown in size and spirit, but our commitment to serving God and our community has remained the same. We believe that everyone is welcome at our church, and we invite you to join us on this journey of faith.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. We do not have a dress code, but we know it's nice to know what to expect when attending a new church. On Sunday mornings, you'll find most people dressed in casual comfortable attire.

What's the worship music like?

AWESOME! Our church has been blessed with many talented musicians. On a typical Sunday, our worship team leads us in worship playing a mix of contemporary and traditional music.  We have a variety of ensembles that also add to each service.

What we Believe

What we believe...

...our purpose is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.

...the Bible is the inspired word of God that teaches us how to live life through faith.

...there is one true living God who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was sent to earth, fully God and fully human, where He led a sin-free life. He died on a cross and He rose 3 days later. His death and resurrection fully paid for our sins and restores our relationship to God. Jesus will come again to take us to live with Him forever.

...God chooses you because He loves you and He accepts you through grace. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are adopted into God's family and become His children. God gives us the Holy Spirit to live in us and guide us. He changes us from the inside out and makes us a new creation that is holy, righteous and redeemed. Because of God's love for us, He guides us to live life differently. Out of our love for God and His love for us we want to love others and proclaim the Good News of His love.

We are a member church of ECO (A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians).
