how we can pray for you?
Pray always.  Pray in the Spirit.
Pray about everything in every way you know how!

Ephesians 6: 18

Pray For HPC

Prayer Gathering
Wednesdays, 6:15 p.m.
Family Life Center Room 203

If we call upon the Lord, He has promised in His Word to answer, to bring the unsaved to Himself, to pour our His Spirit among us...the future will depend upon our times of prayer. This is the engine that will drive the church.
Jim Cymbala , Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire

Provision: We put our trust in God who richly provides us with everything (1 Timothy 6: 12). As we commit ourselves to generosity ask God to provide the resources needed for the ministries of HPC.

Protection: The psalmist reminds us that the LORD is our strength and our shield (Psalm 28: 7). Ask for God to guard our hearts, minds and bodies. Pray for our physical and spiritual protection.

Vision: In the Old Testament God led His people in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire (Exodus: 13: 21). Pray that as God continues to lead us we will have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Courage: God told a leader named Joshua, who was leading Israel into new territory, to be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1: 9). Pray that we will follow where God leads with boldness and courage.

Unity: Paul, a leader in the early church, prayed that the church in Colosse might be encouraged in heart and united in love (Colossians 2: 2). Jesus prayed that we might be brought to complete unity (John 17: 23). The enemy wants to divide us. Pray for the unity of God’s church.

Innovation: The good news about Jesus Christ and God’s love for the world never changes.  The way we share that good news is changing constantly. It helps that we follow a God of new things. God spoke through an Old Testament prophet named Isaiah and said to forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! (Isaiah 43: 18 and 19).  Pray we will be always innovative and creative as we engage in Kingdom work.

Impact: Jesus calls us to be salt and light in the world. He tells us a town built on a hill cannot be hidden. (Matthew 5: 14).  More than ever we are called to make an impact and be difference makers and influencers in our homes, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces.
